Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah Naloxone Training Program
As a response to the increasing rates of lethal opioid overdose in their community, the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah has developed a program, accompanied by a formal policy, that offers free Naloxone training to its community members and tribal employees.
Swinomish Indian Tribal Community didgʷálič Wellness Center
The didgʷálič Wellness Center, which is owned and operated by the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community, provides out-patient treatment services for tribal members as well as non-native individuals suffering from substance use disorders and behavioral health issues.
Chugachmiut Cooperation Llangarwik Recovery Camp
The residential program is the first of its kind, offering the camp in rural locations and meeting participants where they are at. It uses a “two-world” approach, combining western and traditional practices, to help participants overcome struggles with alcoholism, chemical dependency and related family issues
